Does any one know who the beast is? It is the dragons son. There is only one time I know of when the devil relinquishes his power. it’s when the dragon, i.e. the devil gives his power, his seat, and great authority to the beast, i.e. his son.
Genesis 4:6 is where you find God explaining the future. “And the Lord said unto Cain, why art thou wroth? and why is thou countenance fallen? If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou does not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.”
Sin that lieth at the door is the serpent, i.e. the devil. God is saying to Cain if he doesn’t do well then he will do the devils desire, but Cain will rule over him. The only time this happens is in Revelation 13. What was the devils desire? To kill the son of God and steal His inheritance.
